We are excited to announce a mentor ministry at

Willowbrook starting this Fall!

This ministry prayerfully connects women in a one-on-one,

encouraging, supportive, and Christ-centered friendship.

“Mentoring requires no special talent, or God-given quality.

All God asks is for us to take seriously the task of mentoring and building up other women .”—Lucibel Van Atta

Women of All Ages Welcome

Mentorship: A Mentor and Mentee walk together through a season of life while growing in their faith. Each Mentor and Mentee will meet regularly during a six month commitment.

Mentor: A Godly, Christian Woman who is willing to invest and share her life experience with a woman who is spiritually younger. A Mentor helps guide her Mentee in applying the Bible to everyday life and speaks encouragement, truth, and life in love. A Mentor leads by example and keeps Jesus the center of the mentorship.

Mentee: A Woman who is seeking an encouraging, Christ-centered friendship with a spiritually older woman who has likely “been in your shoes”. A mentee values the investment and guidance from a mentor in living a godly life without fear of judgment, while being met with truth and love.

“Older Women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.” Titus 2:3-5
